The bipedal beasts stand over 2 meters in height, with shaggy, white fur constantly stained by the blood and guts of slaughtered prey. Primarily solitary hunters, wampas occasionally hunt in packs, preferring to ambush their victims from the camouflage of Hoth's snow banks and blizzards. The planet's tauntauns form the bulk of the wampas' prey, but they will attack almost anything they encounter.
